A 17 kg tumor of the spine was surgically removed
a 53 year old patient in Beheshti Hospital of Tehran.
The patient had presented himself late for intervention
and the mass had increased in size resulting in nerve compression,
and had restricted the movement and control of his lower extremities.
Surgery was done successfully and patient is recovering well.
The mass was located outside of the spinal cord.
